Abstract

The article addresses issues related to exploring how music can be used as an educational tool to enhance academic performance–facilitating the learning of various school subjects as well as improving and developing students’ academic and social skills. This approach involves integrating music into teaching content from different curricular areas through innovative methods, such as collaborative learning, the use of digital technologies, and interdisciplinary approaches. Education through music stimulates creativity, critical thinking, and active student engagement, providing them with new ways to learn and make connections across different fields. Thus, music becomes a complex and effective learning medium, contributing to holistic education. The main points of the study are identified, in particular. 1. Interdisciplinary education – represents an educational approach that involves integrating and combining multiple disciplines or fields of study to address a specific theme, problem, or concept. 2. Creative learning – refers to an educational process in which students are encouraged to express their ideas, explore concepts, and solve problems in an innovative and original way. 3. Curricular integration – refers to an educational approach that combines and correlates various disciplines and learning content in a way that facilitates a deeper and more holistic understanding of subjects. 4. Technology in education – refers to the use of various technological tools and resources to enhance the teaching and learning process. 5. Pedagogical innovation – refers to the introduction and application of new methods, techniques, strategies, and resources in the teaching process to improve the quality of education and facilitate learning.
