The article identifies the main problems that should be solved by the teacher of academic vocals when determining the content, choosing forms and methods of work in the conditions of distance learning with students of higher educational institutions. This perspective considers: the specifics of performing and pedagogical activity in the academic vocal class; the processes of formation of conditioned-reflex connections and muscle-auditory stereotypes; the features of the singer’s auditory sensations in the process of intonation; the importance of vocal hearing, visual and emotional contact of students and the teacher for the effectiveness of classes; the main components of the control of singing activity. The author’s field of attention includes professional risks associated with the use of electronic transmitting devices in the educational process in the solo singing class. Based on the analysis of his own practical activity in teaching vocals, recommendations are given on determining directions and choosing effective methods of work in the conditions of distance learning, available to this contingent of students. Theoretical provisions are given that can become methodological guidelines when developing distance learning course programs. The article also highlights the difficulties that teachers face when organizing distance learning classes: from technical problems to psychological aspects of interaction in an online format. The importance of creating a comfortable and motivating learning atmosphere in remote learning conditions is especially emphasized. In addition, the author offers new methods and approaches to preserve musical and emotional expressiveness in online performance, such as the use of online rehearsals, technical exercises via video conferences, and interactive platforms for joint performance of musical works. The article provides examples of successful practices of distance learning in solo singing, revealing effective strategies for organizing such classes that allow maintaining and developing students’ vocal abilities. The author emphasizes the importance of an innovative approach to teaching methods, which includes the use of digital tools that can maintain students’ learning motivation and stimulate them to self-development in the conditions of new educational realities.
