The aim of the article was to highlight the development of the “Vocal Seasons” international vocal art competition from its foundation to the present day. The study methodology was based on a historical-genetic approach using a number of general theoretical (systematization and generalization) and analytical (retrospective and comparative-contrastive analysis) methods. A special attention has been paid to each anniversary of the vocal competition consideration, with the peculiarities of its holding. The highly professional organization of the “Vocal Seasons” stages has been proven, which is confirmed by the positive feedback from the jury members, parents and teachers of the participants, the long preparation, the coordinated interaction between the co-founders and the organizing committee of the competition and, as a result, by its spectacular implementation. It has been found that a qualified jury related to a show business was invited to work at the vocal competition. Moreover, the jury included eminent vocal art figures and teachers. The spread of the vocal art competition abroad has been reasoned, due to its internationalization and the popularization of the festi- val-competition movement in the Ukrainian format on the international scene. It has been found that the “Vocal Seasons” international vocal art competition through a song contributes to national identity formation of teen-agers and youth, since song creativity reflects the traditions, worldviews and values of the people, which are passed down from generation to generation, and is also “a symbol of the collective memory and a cultural code of the nation” (Zaverukha et al., 2025). It has been found that for “Vocal Seasons” international vocal art competition important are: professional (vocal) development of the participants, aimed at their further performing and pedagogical activities (the prospect of participating in Junior Eurovision, Dity.Help Music and other competitions, further vocal education in higher educational institutions); the sounding of modern Ukrainian songs, including original ones, in Ukraine and abroad; various support for participants during the competition (financial, media support, training with Mariya Prylypko at the music and theater Broadway Kids Studio and participation in a Broadway show, taking a vocal intensive course from Oleksandr Ponomariov) and after its completion.
