Abstract

Creativity, as a fact of the cultural development of society and humanity as a whole, has manifested itself particularly actively in the field of artistic activity. On the way to a comprehensive study of this phenomenon, this study attempts to consider creativity as a conceptual idea of civilizational construction in the environment of the primitive social order. This motive touches on important circumstances of the development of early human communities, their material and artistic culture and the first manifestations of spiritual existence. The second motivational component is an attempt to explain the concept of creativity in the creation of numerous art objects of the Paleolithic and Neolithic eras, and thus the emergence of the need for visual fixation by man of his own ideas, understandings of the surrounding world, magical and cult motifs, which became important information for future eras. Solving these problems helps to comprehensively understand the natural and vital role of the building origins of creativity as the primary signs of civilization. The starting point was the concept of creativity as an effort to record important vital indicators by representatives of Paleolithic and Neolithic tribes – direct evidence of cultural progress and mental development of man of this era. Empirical exploration of the holistic awareness of pictorial motifs of primitive man was based on the ways of knowing the world, mastering the environment and developing social relations. As a methodological means of analyzing information, phenomena and samples of art, the idea of comparing/combining art historical and archaeological-ethnographic features of monuments and their formal-stylistic explanation was chosen. Cultural and civilizational processes in the Paleolithic era of humanity in different locational territories had many common features. The Neolithic revealed to the world certain differences that were associated with mental characteristics, the nature of magical beliefs, and differential labor processes. The separation of works that satisfied the physical existence of tribes from those that ensured the stability of beliefs contributed to the emergence of a specific type of activity – artistic and creative (imaginative). Experience stretched over time introduced changes of a conceptual nature – from the needs of survival to complicated self-identification and the multiplication of the needs of religion. Creative reality as a vital need had to be seen, felt and realized. This process gained maturity due to the improvement of the ability to fix the processes of cognition of the surrounding world with an artistic and figurative component. Artistic creativity became an important dominant in the implementation of the features of conceptual thinking, and creative thinking – signs of a working intellect and artistic consciousness
